For anyone who is serious about being saved and going to heaven, they must first of all obtain teaching that will help them.
Group 1. Those who are true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ will bless you with the Lord’s teaching. And subject to you obeying Christ’s teaching, you will receive what they have already received – companionship with the Lord Jesus and his Father through the gift and power of the Holy Spirit of God. Praise be to God!
John 14:23 Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.’
Group 2. Those who are not true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ will not bless us, but will seek to prevent us from entering heaven. How? By teaching us contrary to the Lord’s teachings. And you will remain like them, no matter what they say, you will remain separated from the Lord Jesus and his Father and you will not receive the Holy Spirit of God. In fact, he will appose you with perfect love. He, the Holy Spirit of God, will continually urge you to be loving and obedient to the Lord Jesus and thus be saved – though there will come a time when it will be too late for you to be saved.. The false disciples do not want you to be saved.
John 14:24 ‘Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.’
This is not a new problem!
Soon after the Holy Spirit of God came and started to cause Lost Souls to be born again as Children of the Living God, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Servants of the Devil, those who apposed the Lord Jesus Christ, as they had done before he died and rose again, apposed such blessings. They drove the true Disciples out of their Churches and sought to keep the unsaved members in darkness through religious control and oppression.
In the following Bible verses we see John, a true Disciple of the Lord Jesus, seeking to be a blessing to a saved woman who led a group of people. Notice that she was a woman in leadership through being gifted by the Holy Spirit of God.
1 The elder,
To the lady chosen by God and to her children, whom I love in the truth – and not I only, but also all who know the truth – 2 because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us for ever:
Notice! A lady chosen by God!
3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.
4 It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us. 5 And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. 6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
Not all her family were walking in the truth.
That love he talks about is walking in obedience to the Lord’s commands – something that those in Group 2 refuse to do.
7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we [Some manuscripts say you] have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.
Who are the deceivers?
Those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ is true.
Those who because they are disobedient, do not know him, but just apply his name to their own religion.
Those who if welcomed by those in Group 1, cause them to be judged as sharing in their wicked work.
12 I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
Those in Group 1 are not afraid of face to face communication.
Those in Group 2 will hide behind bible verses and religious belief – or simply just hide from you.
13 The children of your sister, who is chosen by God, send their greetings.
Her sister was also chosen by God.
Those in Group 1 always have their ministry anointed by the living God who chose them.
Those deceivers in Group 2 do not. All they have is the blessing of other members of the religious group.
So we go back to the opening question: Who is true and who is false in their teaching about Jesus? Who wants to bless us and who doesn’t?
Well, don’t be fooled, seek out members of Group 1, those as described by the Lord Jesus in John 14:23. Reject all who are members of Group 2, those described by the Lord Jesus in John 14:24.
Heaven is where the members of Group 1 are heading for should they remain living according to their Lord’s teachings. Should any stop doing that, they will simply become part of Group 2.
Hell is where the members of Group 2 are heading for should they not turn from their wickedness and comply with the terms of Jesus’ Gospel. If they do become obedient to the Lords’ commands, then they will become part of Group 1 – subject to the Lord’s approval.
May God open your heart and mind to this true teaching. In Jesus Christ, God’s Son, you can be saved.
I have heard Christians say that they believe in Jesus, study their Holy Bible and attend Church regularly. Yet, they do not feel any different than before believing in Jesus.
I have also heard Christian Teachers reply, it does not matter how you feel, as long as you believe in Jesus you are saved. These teachers are from Group 2 and those lost souls who believe them remain in Group 2 also.
Why do I say that?
Well, how can you have the Lord Jesus and his Father come and make their home with you through God the Holy Spirit……… AND NOT FEEL DIFFERENT!!!!!
This is an answer that all the Antichrists hate for it reveals their true nature as enemies of Christ Jesus and all Creation.
Those in Group 1 are living in the light.
Jesus taught. Matthew 11:29 ‘Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’
Jesus taught. John 14:19 ‘Before long, the world will not see me any more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realise that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.’
Those in Group 2 are living in darkness.
Well, Paul, a true disciple of Jesus, said in 2 Corinthians 4:4 ‘The god of this age [the devil] has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. ‘
