mikehill4jesus “How many are the very few who find the gate to heaven?”
Why do I not have any Christian friends?
I have been witnessing for the Lord Jesus since 1977 and any practical or spiritual help, even love, I have received is very little. It is claimed there are 2.2 billion Christians on this planet. Which raises the question, how many are truly Spiritually Converted Christians as described by the Lord Jesus in John 14:23? My life experience suggests that most of the Professing Christians are part of Churchianity, not members of Christ’s Body.
The Lord Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:13 The Narrow and Wide Gates “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
“only a few” suggests that Spiritually Converted Christians are a relatively small number of the worlds population. It also suggests that is the reason I do not have any in my life here where I live or elsewhere. There are many Christians, but they are stubbornly refusing to help me witness for the Lord Jesus. These are members of Churchianity, religiously minded people who use the term Christian to describe themselves, but instead of being members of Christ’s Body, they are a usually excessive or narrowly sectarian attachment to the practices and interests of a particular church.
Therefore, the Spiritually Converted Christian must not be surprised at the lonely life they lead. Lonely in a worldly sense, not a spiritual sense. Loneliness is a complex and usually unpleasant emotional response to isolation or lack of companionship. Loneliness typically includes anxious feelings about a lack of connectedness or communality with other beings, both in the present and extending into the future.
Unconverted Professing Christians who are members of Churchianity tend to be selfish. And the life that the Lord Jesus offers them, a life of suffering in loneliness, would not be what they want. That is probably why I never get a response from them when I attempt effective communication.
The following Bible teachings are NOT what the members of Churchianity want to think about.
Mark 10:29 ‘Truly I tell you,’ Jesus replied, ‘no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields – along with persecutions – and in the age to come eternal life.
Luke 21:12 ‘But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.
John 15:20 Remember what I told you: “A servant is not greater than his master.” If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
John 13:16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
Lord, you understand;
remember me and care for me.
Avenge me on my persecutors.
You are long-suffering – do not take me away;
think of how I suffer reproach for your sake.
Zechariah 2:8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you – for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye
Acts 9:4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?’ 5 ‘Who are you, Lord?’ Saul asked. ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ he replied.
2 Timothy 3:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
If you are truly a Follower of the Lord Jesus, that is spiritually converted through fulfilling the requirements of his Gospel as described in John 14:23. Then you will have to face the hatred of Professing Christians who are condemned by John 14:24 and are members of Churchianity. As proven by my Testimony 1948 to Today.
I have yet to receive a proven testimony from any member of Churchianity. A testimony of their life before salvation, during salvation, after salvation.
