The Holy Bible condemns Unsociable Christians!
True and false disciples
Matthew 7:21 ‘Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?” 23 Then I will tell them plainly, “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!”
The meaning of ‘knew’ is a past description of know. ‘I never knew you’ and ‘I don’t know you’.
Now the Lord Jesus was clearly aware of them through observation, inquiry, or information. But he had not developed a relationship with them through meeting and spending time with them; be familiar or friendly with them. They were, as many are today, Professing Christians who call themselves “Christian” but out of a desire to go to Heaven or not go to Hell. Because of their selfishness in life, they refused to be a friend of the Lord Jesus Christ and of Mankind.
The Christian Fellowship, the Communion of True Christians, involves Friendship.
It is according to the prayer of Christ.
John 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
It is with:
1 John 1:3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
True Christians in heaven.
Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
Galatians 2:9 James, Peter and John, those reputed to be pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognised the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the Jews.
1 John 1:3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our joy complete. 5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
God marks it with his approval.
Malachi 3:16 Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honoured his name.
Christ is present in our friendship.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
False Christians say some of the right things, but don’t do them!
“Churchianity” is a pejorative term, a word expressing contempt or disapproval, for practices of Christianity that are viewed as placing more emphasis on the habits of church life or its institutional traditions than on the teachings of Jesus. Hence the replacement of “Christ” by “Church” in the word “Churchianity”.
This “Churchianity” contradicts the teachings of the Lord Jesus
John 14:23 Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. [Christianity] My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me [Churchianity] will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.’
Those Christians who are unfriendly are on the Broad Road leading to Hell!
The Lord Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:13 The Narrow and Wide Gates “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Those involved in Churchianity are not free in Christ because they are not in His truth. Therefore, they hide from friendship that does not come from their own kind.
PROFESSING CHRISTIANS WHO PRACTICE CHURCHIANITY NEED TO REPENT!
