So what is this evil that humans can do?
The young people who have access to the internet can easily find past and present examples. It is also shown on TV. In fact the portrayal of evil is even used in popular entertainment. This constant feeding of wicked behaviour into the mind of the young as they grow up has the effect of making them mistrust others. Of course, wicked behaviour can take place in the home, at school, at work and in the community. The TV News is full of it!
The Holy Bible teaches about this evildoing in human beings. It’s in the Doctrine of the Fall of Mankind.
So what’s the role of Jesus?
1 John 3:8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God [the Lord Jesus] appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
He came from Heaven to be a perfect sacrifice so that all who followed Him and obeyed his teachings and commands could be rescued from the Devil’s power over them. It’s called the Gospel of Jesus. He did many wonderful things for so many people and even tried to help evil people to believe in Him, the Saviour of the World.
They killed him!
But unknown to the Evildoers who did this. It was in God’s plan that his perfectly sinless Son would die, as Jesus said he would. But after 3 days, he would come back to life again in order to prove who he was and that his Father had approved of his death.
He was not only seen by many people who knew he had been killed, he also worked with them.
Mark 16:20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.
He does the same today, all these years later. He and His Father come and live with those who prove their love for him by learning and obeying His Teachings and Commands. He also made many Promises that as a perfect Lord and Saviour, he could not break. He only lives with those who obey Moral Law, though it may take them time to learn it and put it into practice. These we call Christians and Disciples.
John 14:23 Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
Sadly, there were and still are, false Christians who wrongly follow Churchianity. “Churchianity” is a pejorative term, a word expressing contempt or disapproval, for practices of Christianity that are viewed as placing more emphasis on the habits of church life or its institutional traditions than on the teachings of Jesus. Hence the replacement of “Christ” by “Church” in the word “Churchianity”.
These evildoers the Lord Jesus describes for us in.
John 14:24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. [Churchianity] These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.’
Please note! The Father God knows in which group you are. He will NOT come and make his home with you if you refuse to obey the teachings of his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Churchianity is not the way to heaven!
Churchianity offers the polluted people of this world a chance to operate as if they are Christians.
Those Christians on the Broad Road leading to Hell, are NOT true Christians!
The Lord Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:13 The Narrow and Wide Gates “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Young people, yes all people, can be misled by these False Christians. Thus they are not set free from the Devils power over them.
PROFESSING CHRISTIANS WHO PRACTICE CHURCHIANITY NEED TO REPENT!
