PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BY THE EVILDOING DONE BY SOME CHRISTIANS

This is just one, there are many others, example of evildoing by Christians
Girls at a church-run children’s home were routinely drugged, locked up and physically, emotionally and sexually abused, a review has found.

Hundreds of girls were sent to Kendall house in Gravesend in the 1960s, 70s and 80s, before it closed in 1986.

The independent review set up by the Bishop of Rochester said the home was a place where cruelty was normalised.

It found girls were heavily sedated and placed in straitjackets. The Church of England has apologised.

Christianity and Churchianity are as different as chalk and cheese
Those people the Lord Jesus describes in John 14:23 have absolutely nothing in common with those described in John 14:24.

The incompatibility of Christ’s Church and Man’s Church is TOTAL!
So there it is, People claiming to be “Christians” but acting against the will of the Lord Jesus, and with no spoken or written testimony of Christ Jesus knowing them.
John 14:23. Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me”

John 14:23-24, is the key to this question of why there are evil Christians. True followers love and obey Jesus, false followers do not. The term, Christian, does not come into it at all as it is just a religious title.

True Followers are a people who are different in their character than the unsaved that they want to see saved. A people who love Jesus; who do not carry on sinning; who show evidence of the Holy Spirit’s power in their life; a people who do not brazenly go against the Holy Spirit as he seeks to do good. False Followers are enemies of the Lord Jesus, and of his true ministers!

Your Choice
In the Holy Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ speaks of two gates that everyone has to make a decision over which one to go through. One gate is Narrow and the other is Wide. Each of these gates leads onto a road that represents your life here on earth and likewise they are the same as their entrance gate.
Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

God allows no Neutrality
Do you want to go to heaven when you die? Then quite clearly, God has offered you his only Son in order that you can make a thoughtful choice in this matter. He does not offer you a neutral path. You will have to make a choice, if not the narrow road then the wide road. You will have to bear fruit in your life, if not good fruit then bad fruit.

Matthew 12:30 “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.

Mark 9:40 for whoever is not against us is for us.

Luke 16:13 “No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”

Luke 9:62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts his hand to the plough and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

Matthew 4:10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'”

John 12:26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honour the one who serves me.

Mark 16:20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!

Those Jesus describes in John 14:23 are spiritually joined with Him and with each other by the Holy Spirit of God. He is the Leader of them all! However, he chooses the roles that these spiritually reborn people have.
Ephesians 4:11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

The Lord Jesus, as the head of his spiritual body, operates discipline through these Ministers.
Revelation 3:19 ‘Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.’

The Apostle Paul said this.
1 Corinthians 5:5 hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, [a][b] so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.
Footnotes:
[a] 1 Corinthians 5:5 In contexts like this, the Greek word for flesh (sarx) refers to the sinful state of human beings, often presented as a power in opposition to the Spirit.
[b] 1 Corinthians 5:5 Or of his body

Matthew Henry commented.
The apostle notices a flagrant abuse, winked at by the Corinthians. Party spirit, and a false notion of Christian liberty, seem to have saved the offender from censure. Grievous indeed is it that crimes should sometimes be committed by professors of the gospel, of which even heathens would be ashamed. Spiritual pride and false doctrines tend to bring in, and to spread such scandals. How dreadful the effects of sin! The devil reigns where Christ does not. And a man is in his kingdom, and under his power, when not in Christ. The bad example of a man of influence is very mischievous; it spreads far and wide. Corrupt principles and examples, if not corrected, would hurt the whole church. Believers must have new hearts, and lead new lives. Their common conversation and religious deeds must be holy. So far is the sacrifice of Christ our Passover for us, from rendering personal and public holiness unnecessary, that it furnishes powerful reasons and motives for it. Without holiness we can neither live by faith in him, nor join in his ordinances with comfort and profit.

The problem with Churchianity – False Christianity is that they try to get members of it to take on these roles in their Churches. But they fail because they do not have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. They may say that they have, but they have no proof of it being true. Hence you get Religious Titles that represent a church hierarchy; Archbishop, Bishop, Pope, Cardinal, Cannon, Rural Dean, etc.

The true Christian Church is led by the Lord Jesus Christ, NOT by Man. It’s a spiritual Church made up of spiritual people!
