Who is this Living God?
This is what the Apostle Paul said.
1 Corinthians 8:5 ‘For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords’), 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.’
Father – Son – Holy Spirit
I have been a disciple of the Lord Jesus for many, many years, and I say that the God who lives in me is a mighty God in Three Persons. I know me and only a mighty living God could have saved me and brought me through to where I am today.
The God I worship is no mystical being who is up there, somewhere, to be called out to.
No! My mighty God is a Trinity of three persons in one Godhead, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They have existed from eternity and these sacred Persons are co-equal, co-eternal and co-consubstantial; that is identical in essence though different in aspect. Each is possessed of the elements of personality, i.e. thought, feeling, conscience and will, so that there are three separate centres of consciousness, feeling and action within the Trinity. Yet, these together constitute one God. The Trinity is a truth superior to our understanding yet not contrary to our reason.
All three are omnipotent having unlimited or universal power, when applied to my God, his absolute power in the physical realm.
It should be noted however, that in the moral realm God has limited His own power by giving to man the power of free will, whereby he can act entirely according to his own dictates and violate his own intelligence and God’s will if he so chooses. The present state of the world is a graphic and tragic illustration of this fact.
Because of this self-imposed limitation on His power, God cannot do many things. He cannot make anyone love Him. When anyone attacks a disciple of Jesus, they are attacking God. Whatever the disciple and their family have to endure, God also endures it with them. There is no more sad and pathetic sight than people claiming to be God’s leaders attacking the Lord and his servant, Acts 23:11 & 12.
Omnipotence is a natural attribute of the Godhead in that it is an unchangeable fact concerning His being, as opposed to a moral attribute, which is a matter of choice.
They are omniscient, having infinite knowledge or understanding of all that is knowable.
They are omnipresent, present in all places at the same time.
They are proven from Scripture
Mt 3:16-17; Ro 8:9; 1 Co 12:3-6; Eph 4:4-6; 1 Pe 1:2; 1 Jn 5:7; Jude 1:20-21.
They have special Titles
Ex 20:2, with Jn 20:28 and Ac 5:3-4.
They are Eternal
Ro 16:26, with Rev 22:13 and Heb 9:14.
They are Holy
Rev 4:8; Rev 15:4, with Ac 3:14 and 1 Jn 2:20.
They are True
Jn 7:28, with Rev 3:7.
To the Father I am said to be His “son” or “child”, Jn 1:12-13, and never spoken of as His “brother”.
To the Son I am a “brother” or together with others “bride” Rom 8:29; Heb 2:11-12 and 17; Eph 5:23-32; Rev 19:7-9; 21:2-9; 22:17, and never called His “son”.
To the Holy Spirit I am never said to be in the relation of son, brother or bride. He is represented as Christ’s Deputy, or Vice-regent, or Representative. He indwells the temple of my body, 1 Cor 6:19. He builds the composite Temple of Christ formed of living stones, Eph 2:20-22. He acts as my Comforter or Helper, Jn 14:16, but He never appears as my Father, Brother or Bridegroom.
As the relations of the Members of the Trinity with man are distinct, it follows that the Persons themselves must be separate. They address one another, as the Holy Bible records many conversations between them, Ps 2:7-9, alluded to by Christ Himself in Rev 2:27; Ps 22:1; 40:6-8; with Heb 10:5-10; Ps 110:1; Isa 49:3, 5-9; 50:4-9. Their acts while harmonious and related to a central design are also quite well defined. The Father sends the Son; the Son sends the Spirit, Jn 16:7.
My Lord God lives Forever! Rev 1:17-18 “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.”

PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BY THE EVILDOING DONE BY SOME CHRISTIANS
Christianity and Churchianity are as different as chalk and cheese
Those people the Lord Jesus describes in John 14:23 have absolutely nothing in common with those described in John 14:24.
The incompatibility of Christ’s Church and Man’s Church is TOTAL!
So there it is, People claiming to be “Christians” but acting against the will of the Lord Jesus, and with no spoken or written testimony of Christ Jesus knowing them.
John 14:23. Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me”
John 14:23-24, is the key to this question of why there are evil Christians. True followers love and obey Jesus, false followers do not. The term, Christian, does not come into it at all as it is just a religious title.
True Followers are a people who are different in their character than the unsaved that they want to see saved. A people who love Jesus; who do not carry on sinning; who show evidence of the Holy Spirit’s power in their life; a people who do not brazenly go against the Holy Spirit as he seeks to do good. False Followers are enemies of the Lord Jesus, and of his true ministers!
The problem with Churchianity is that they have a God that they do not know personally. Why don’t they know their God personally? Their God does not exist!
The true Christian Church is led by the Lord Jesus Christ, NOT by Man. It’s a spiritual Church made up of spiritual people!
