We are living in ever growing evil times. As the return of the Lord Jesus Christ draws near, wickedness will increase and many who are saved will lose their faith.
The Lord Jesus promised in, Matthew 24:12 ‘Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,’

Good Advice to ALL Church Leaders who are Spiritually Converted
1 Timothy 4:16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

It is wise for any Christian Church Leader to take the advice of the Lord Jesus Christ as given through the Holy Spirit of God and the Holy Bible.

The Christian Church has a history that includes evildoing.
That is why it’s profitable for a Christian Leader to study and obey the Doctrine of Church or else find they are persecuting the Lord Jesus Christ.

Good Preaching

Anyone who truly gives their life to the Lord Jesus will suffer persecution.
The Lord Jesus says in John 16:33 ‘I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’

Only by living in union with Christ Jesus alongside other true Believers can persecution be endured. Being joined with false Christians will not help, as they are persecutors.

Disciples suffering persecution should.
Commit themselves to God. Exhibit patience. Rejoice. Glorify God. Pray for deliverance. Pray for those inflicting the persecution. Return blessings for the persecution. The hope of future blessings supports those who are under it. They are blessed for enduring it for Christ’s sake. They pray for those suffering persecution. Hypocrites, those who claim to belong to God, but they don’t love and obey the Lord Jesus, cannot endure it and would even deny loving Jesus in order to avoid it. False teachers of Christianity shrink from it.

Persecution

What the True Church is

The True Church Belongs to God.
1 Timothy 3:15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

The True Church is the Body of Christ.
Ephesians 1:23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Colossians 1:24 Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.

Christ the foundation-stone of the True Church.
1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

1 Peter 2:4 As you come to him, the living Stone–rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him– 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

Christ, the head of the True Church.
Ephesians 1:22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Saviour.

The True Church is Loved by Christ.
Song of Solomon 7:10 I belong to my lover, and his desire is for me.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

The True Church Purchased by the blood of Christ.
Acts 20:28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

Hebrews 9:12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.

The True Church is Sanctified and cleansed by Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Ephesians 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

The True Church is Subject to Christ.
Romans 7:4 So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.

Doctrine, the Church

True Disciples of Jesus are His Soldiers and are called to fight the Evil Powers of Satan.
It does not matter who the person is that is dying, they need to fall in love with the Lord Jesus Christ and it is us Disciples of Jesus who help them to do that. We fight Satan and his followers who wants them lost.

Ephesians 6:12 ‘For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.’

Christian Warfare
Galatians 5:
16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

Charles Finney wrote
(and it may take a few readings to understand – well it did with me. G Campbell Morgan once said that to understand a Passage you must read it 50 time. [Gulp!])

This passage has been greatly misunderstood, or else the Apostle has contradicted himself. Leaving out of view the 16th verse, and that the design of the 17th is to assign the grounds of the assertion in the 16th, many of the expounders of the Scriptures have understood the 17th to declare, that in consequence of the flesh lusting against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, persons who really wish to be holy cannot. So it has all along been generally understood. Now I repeat, that if this interpretation be true, the Apostle contradicts himself. The 16th positively asserts that those who walk in the Spirit shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. This interpretation of the 17th verse, makes him say, that in consequence of the opposition between the flesh and the Spirit, those who walk in the Spirit, after all, cannot but fulfil the lusts of the flesh. But this interpretation entirely overlooks the fact, that the 17th verse is designed to establish the assertion made in the 16th. In the 16th, the Apostle says, ‘walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.’ Why? ‘Because,’ says he, ‘the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary the one to the other,’ that is, they are opposites. What then? Why the obvious inference, ‘that ye (that is, who walk in the Spirit,) cannot do the things that ye would,’ in case you were not walking in the Spirit. In other words, you who are walking in the Spirit cannot fulfil the lusts of the flesh. The simple principle is, that you cannot walk after the Spirit, and fulfil the lusts of the flesh at the same time, because it is impossible to perform two opposites at once.

Fulfil. To bring into actuality; effect or make real

The Body of Christ needs to work together before it’s too late!
