Mike’s Easter Messages 2017

John 14:23 Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.’

It goes without saying that this question is only relevant when you are as the Lord Jesus describes in John 14:23 and your Loved Ones are as he describes in John 14:24

There are Christians who are Christless – that is, they don’t belong to John 14:23 but firmly in John 14:24. This Easter many of these Christless Christians will be celebrating the Easter Festival. We call this Churchianity, Christianity with Christ removed and replaced with Church. It’s a big problem!

However, it’s not for me to judge who is who. All I can do is teach about the need to be baptised in the Holy Spirit, thus being born again of the Spirit of God. There are true Christians who sin, break moral law. Why, they are new Christians still being helped by the Spirit to learn from Jesus. Also long term Christians who love Jesus but have not received the right teaching.

It’s the responsibility of every person to ensure they get themselves right with Jesus and I have links below that will help you. I am here to help, not condemn. Only Jesus through the Holy Spirit can do that. He is the Perfect Judge of us all.

Your Choice
In the Holy Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ speaks of two gates that everyone has to make a decision over which one to go through. One gate is Narrow and the other is Wide. Each of these gates leads onto a road that represents your life here on earth and likewise they are the same as their entrance gate.
Matthew 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

I help my Lord Jesus seek to guide people onto the Narrow Road to Heaven.

Message 18, Can We Enjoy Heaven Knowing of Loved Ones in Hell?

Many of the toughest questions Christians face from skeptics involve the doctrine of eternal punishment and hell. But it is not only unbelievers who ask questions about hell. Many Christians have unbelieving loved ones who have died, and they wonder how they can enjoy heaven knowing that their loved ones are in hell. In this lecture, Dr. R.C. Sproul helps Christians understand what the Bible has to say about this deeply troubling question.

Christ has redeemed us to be a light that directs others to Him. Fulfilling this call requires us to be able to deal with the most difficult questions asked about the Christian faith. If we are unprepared for the darkness around us, it will be harder to counter it with the truth of God’s Word.

In this series of lectures from Ligonier Ministries’ 2010 National Conference, Alistair Begg, Michael Horton, Steven J. Lawson, John MacArthur, Albert Mohler, Burk Parsons, R.C. Sproul, R.C. Sproul Jr., and Derek Thomas address some of the most difficult questions that we face as Christians and endeavor to offer biblical answers to assure us and to help us defend the truths of the Christian faith. This conference also features a special mini conference on Christian communication in a hypersocial world.

The LAW of the New Testament is obedience to Christ as a result of your love for Him

The Gospel Doctrine of Jesus Christ

The Doctrine of Jesus a Saviour

To be chosen for Salvation, you have to be as the Lord Jesus describes in John 14:23!

Those whom the Lord will refuse entry into Heaven and send into Hell are described in John 14:24!

There is no religion, not even Christian, that can do what the Lord Jesus proclaimed He can do.
Revelation 1:18 ‘I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.’

In my testimony you will see how over time the Holy Spirit influenced me by the Gospel of Jesus until I chose to love the Lord Jesus. I also describe those I have observed to be showing signs of rejecting the Gospel. They are unable to produce a testimony of their own walk with God – before and after salvation. Though for some, it might be the case of they are not yet able to form in their mind what is happening to them.
