A Disciples walk along the Narrow Road to Heaven

mikehill4jesus “A Disciples walk along the Narrow Road to Heaven”

26th May 2017 (15.59) My podcast .mp3 Thought for Today Audio

John 14:23 Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.’

There are professing Christians who quote the Holy Bible out of context. They are also unable to fit their life into what the Holy Bible teaches – they can’t give true examples of what the teaching is saying. They have no spiritual testimony of what it’s like to be a member of Christ’s Body. They cannot express clearly what putting the teachings of Jesus into practice involved – learning them, putting them into practice, and what then happened to them.

This is what A.W. Tozer said

The loneliness of the Christian results from his walk with God in an ungodly world, a walk that must often take him away from the fellowship of good Christians as well as from that of the unregenerate world. His God-given instincts cry out for companionship with others of his kind, others who can understand his longings, his aspirations, his absorption in the love of Christ; and because within his circle of friends there are so few who share his inner experiences he is forced to walk alone.

The unsatisfied longings of the prophets for human understanding caused them to cry out in their complaint, and even our Lord Himself suffered in the same way.

The man [or woman] who has passed on into the divine Presence in actual inner experience will not find many who understand him. He finds few who care to talk about that which is the supreme object of his interest, so he is often silent and preoccupied in the midst of noisy religious shoptalk. For this he earns the reputation of being dull and over-serious, so he is avoided and the gulf between him and society widens.

He searches for friends upon whose garments he can detect the smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces, and finding few or none he, like Mary of old, keeps these things in his heart.

It is this very loneliness that throws him back upon God. His inability to find human companionship drives him to seek in God what he can find nowhere else.”

I have provided my own testimony and what Tozer said is in my own experience. I have known the Lord Jesus since 1948 and been used by Him since 1977. YET! Today, 26th May 2017, I have no social friends who are members of popular Christianity – called Churchianity or Christless Christianity.

My walk along the Narrow Road that leads to Heaven is and always has been, in human terms, a very lonely walk.

Mike Hill’s Testimony – His Life With God 1948 to 2017 that contains many examples from my life. In my testimony you will see how over time the Holy Spirit influenced me by the Gospel of Jesus until I chose to love the Lord Jesus. I also describe those I have observed to be showing signs of rejecting the Gospel. They are unable to produce a testimony of their own walk with God – before and after salvation. Though for some, it might be the case of they are not yet able to form in their mind what is happening to them.

My BLOG on The Holy Spirit and Bible Interpretation

My Ministry is to everybody.

In my Blog on the 9th October I spoke about 3 groups of people:

Group 1. Those very few people who truly love and obey the Lord Jesus. John 14:23

Group 2. Those many people who truly hate the Lord Jesus and thus hate those who love him. John 14:24

Group 3. Those very, very, many people who couldn’t care less about the Lord Jesus.

To the 1st Group, I seek to encourage and teach them to remain in union with Jesus their Lord and Saviour.

To the 2nd Group I seek to warn and admonish them with the aim of turning them away from Satan and towards the Lord Jesus Christ so that they can be reconciled to God the Father.

To the 3rd Group, the toughest Group, I seek to let the Lord’s light of truth shine into their selfish world that they may see the truth of their position in this world. “The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God not the fulfilling of their selfish desires”

Those in ‘Group 1’ are “Bondservants” of Jesus. He owns them and expects his servants to submit to his authority. They are no longer their own property.

How to recognise a true Disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and one who is false?

Do they have the Holy Spirit?

One BIG mistake in Bible Teaching

It is pointless teaching Bible Passages aimed at Believers, those spiritually born again of the Spirit of God, to professing Christians who are unconverted. Are even Impenitent Sinners [not feeling shame or regret about one’s actions or attitudes.]

The LAW of the New Testament is obedience to Christ as a result of your love for Him

To be chosen for Salvation, you have to be as the Lord Jesus describes in John 14:23!

Those whom the Lord will refuse entry into Heaven and send into Hell are described in John 14:24!

There is no religion, not even Christian, that can do what the Lord Jesus proclaimed He can do.
Revelation 1:18 ‘I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.’

Do not study the Holy Bible without allowing the Holy Spirit of God to help you.
