Christless Christians abuse the Lord Jesus!
John 14:23 Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.’
NOTICE WHERE JESUS AND HIS FATHER ARE
My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
We see the Lord Jesus showing this in the Bible Passage where he challenges, Saul the Pharisee, who is hunting down the followers of Jesus.
Acts 9:1-6 Saul’s conversion
Acts 9:1 Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?’
5 ‘Who are you, Lord?’ Saul asked.
‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ he replied. 6 ‘Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.’
So let us be clear about this! However you treat the Disciples of Jesus that he describes in John 14:23, you are doing it to Him and his Father. Christless Christians who operate in Churchianity need to know this and must take action to stop it, or face destruction.
THE KEY TO THIS IS THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN THE CHRISTIAN
Churchianity, created by Christless Christians as described in John 14:24, humans not regenerated as a result of fulfilling the Gospel of Jesus, have made their own Laws instead of obeying Moral Law. They consider true Christians to be wrong by disobeying the Laws of Churchianity.
John 15:18-25 The world hates the disciples
18 ‘If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: “A servant is not greater than his master.” [John 13:16] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfil what is written in their Law: “They hated me without reason.” [Psalms 35:19; 69:4]
HELL AWAITS THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO DO THIS
God has called me:
1. To help those Jesus describes in John 14:23, the persecuted. Not only to stand firm in the face of hatred, but also to engage in spiritual warfare. A fight against evil and their own selfish desires that seek to quench the Holy Spirit of God who lives with them.
2. To help those Jesus describes in John 14:24, the persecutors. Not only to help them see their evildoing, but also to witness to them that the Lord Jesus is true and will not allow them into Heaven unless they love Him with a love that produces obedience to His teachings.
3. To allow the Holy Spirit to lead me into having a ministry that goes around the world. To help both Groups 1 and 2 wherever they are in the world to know that whatever they do, both good and bad, will be known by God and will be judged accordingly. Nothing is hidden from God!
I REPEAT, NOTHING YOU DO IS HIDDEN FROM GOD!
He is not somewhere up there looking down at us. No, God is here among us, for he lives with and in those who love and obey Him, John 14:23.
How does He do this? Not by force! Not by bribes or inducements that please the sinner? But by perfect love that works on both the sinner and the saved. A servant love through the Holy Spirit.
But be aware, the time will come when you will be judged by both the good and bad you choose to do. Continuing, if unsaved, to persecute the Lord Jesus, or, if saved, continue to quench the Holy Spirit, and you will be punished.
NOW IS THE TIME TO GET RIGHT WITH THE LOVING AND POWERFUL LORD JESUS WHILE YOU CAN – YOUR TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
