John 14:23 Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.’
When people meet a true Christian, as described by Jesus in John 14:23, they meet God. How? Because God lives in them. That is why they have a Testimony of Christian Experience.
Members of Churchianity and Biblianity, as described by Jesus in John 14:24, lack a powerful testimony that proves Jesus is true! They do not have any Christian Experience, just their own religious experience according to their own interpretation of the Bible.
They say about good cooking that, “The proof of the pudding is in the eating!” Jesus says, “The proof of a Christian is in the good fruit that they produce!”
Jesus Christ, the Lord, clearly describes a true Christians calling
Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
The problem for members of Churchianity, the Christless Christians, is that they have not been spiritually baptized. Only those Jesus describes in John 14:23 have been, thus having a powerful testimony to share with those that need to hear it.
THIS NEXT PIECE IS SO IMPORTANT!
The Lord Jesus predicts his death
Matthew 16:21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. 22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. ‘Never, Lord!’ he said. ‘This shall never happen to you!’ 23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling-block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.’
Peter was acting in the FLESH and was accused of being Satan! We must ALL respond to what the Holy Spirit wants before our lives end or the Lord Jesus returns in Power to destroy the evil of this world. The time for true repentance of our fleshly disobedience and having a total obedience to the teachings of the Lord Jesus is NOW!!!!!
I know in my heart that many will not submit to the position of the Holy Spirit in Christ’s Body. But with His strength and guidance, I will do all that God has called me to do in order to save obstinate members of the Body of Christ. For that is what the Holy Spirit wants me to do at pain of my own punishment if I refuse to do it. I have been struggling to do it for 40 years.
An example of a man who had a powerful testimony concerning the Lord Jesus.
Jesus heals a man born blind
John 9:1 As he [Jesus] went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?’
3 ‘Neither this man nor his parents sinned,’ said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.’
[You can see the errors made by those who loved and followed Jesus. You can also see that it is the works of God that they must do, not their own works.]
6 After saying this, he spat on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7 ‘Go,’ he told him, ‘wash in the Pool of Siloam’ (this word means ‘Sent’). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
[Blind since birth, yet he was healed after obeying Jesus. Jesus and his Disciples must only do the will of the Father. The Father used this blind man, the blind man did not use the Father.]
8 His neighbours and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, ‘Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?’ 9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, ‘No, he only looks like him.’
But he himself insisted, ‘I am the man.’
10 ‘How then were your eyes opened?’ they asked.
11 He replied, ‘The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.’
12 ‘Where is this man?’ they asked him.
‘I don’t know,’ he said.
[Here we see described a work of God that all who knew the Blind man could not miss. He was blind and Jesus healed him. What a Testimony he was able to give, yet the witnesses to it struggled to believe him.]
The Pharisees investigate the healing
13 They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. 14 Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath. 15 Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. ‘He put mud on my eyes,’ the man replied, ‘and I washed, and now I see.’
16 Some of the Pharisees said, ‘This man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath.’
But others asked, ‘How can a sinner perform such signs?’ So they were divided.
17 Then they turned again to the blind man, ‘What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.’
The man replied, ‘He is a prophet.’
[Here we see the true witness to a wonderful work of God standing firm in the eyes of the religious leaders. It is different today, in that there are over 41,000 versions of Christianity. Thus, their leaders can hide – turn a blind eye – to such things. YET, many Jews believed in miracles! What then was their problem? It was Jesus!
18 They still did not believe that he had been blind and had received his sight until they sent for the man’s parents. 19 ‘Is this your son?’ they asked. ‘Is this the one you say was born blind? How is it that now he can see?’
20 ‘We know he is our son,’ the parents answered, ‘and we know he was born blind. 21 But how he can see now, or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. Ask him. He is of age; he will speak for himself.’ 22 His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders, who already had decided that anyone who acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah would be put out of the synagogue. 23 That was why his parents said, ‘He is of age; ask him.’
24 A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. ‘Give glory to God by telling the truth,’ they said. ‘We know this man is a sinner.’
[See how the enemies of the Lord Jesus strove to find fault in Him. Notice how they used fear to control the people. Even today, the Churches keep Christ’s loving witnesses outside of their fellowships. Totally shunning them!]
25 He replied, ‘Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!’
26 Then they asked him, ‘What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?’
27 He answered, ‘I have told you already and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples too?’
[Here the witness stood firm and even questioned the Jewish Leaders – this took courage. Of course he was telling the truth, he could see, so that made it easier.]
28 Then they hurled insults at him and said, ‘You are this fellow’s disciple! We are disciples of Moses! 29 We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don’t even know where he comes from.’
30 The man answered, ‘Now that is remarkable! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. 31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. 32 Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.’
[Here we see clear witness to the evildoing of the Religious Leaders, breaking the Moral Law given to Moses whom they claim to be a disciple of. Today we have them who claim to be disciples of Jesus, yet refuse to obey His teachings based on Moral Law! I find it amazing that this man who had been blind from birth and treated as cursed by God, could not only openly witness for God, he could even reason with the enemies of Jesus who hated God!]
34 To this they replied, ‘You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!’ And they threw him out.
[Wow!!!!! The power of EVIL that enables Impenitent Sinners to stand their ground in the face of true Testimony to the works of God through Jesus Christ the Lord. I have shared my testimony with Christian Leaders since the late 1990s and without exception, they have shunned me. Such is the grip that Satan has on them who lack belief and are driven by selfishness.]
35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, ‘Do you believe in the Son of Man?’
36 ‘Who is he, sir?’ the man asked. ‘Tell me so that I may believe in him.’
37 Jesus said, ‘You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.’
38 Then the man said, ‘Lord, I believe,’ and he worshipped him.
[Isn’t it wonderful that this witness to the grace of God, not only shared his testimony and stood in the truth when attacked by the Jewish Religious Leaders. Now worshipped his Lord. It is the same with all true witnesses of the works of God, that no matter how hated they are by those who should have rejoiced at what Jesus had done, but did not, they would love their Saviour with all their being. What a wonderful witness this blind man had become to the world, even today.]
39 Jesus said, ‘For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.’
40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, ‘What? Are we blind too?’
41 Jesus said, ‘If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.
[Oh the simple teachings of Jesus, that those whom love him can understand with ease (John 14:23), yet those who don’t love Him (John 14:24), cannot understand at all!]
SO MANY OF TODAY’S PROFESSING CHRISTIANS ARE SPIRITUALLY BLIND BECAUSE GOD HATES THOSE WHO HATE HIS SON. HOW THE DEVIL MAKES GOOD USE OF THEM IN KEEPING LOST SOULS LOST!
The Power of A True Testimony
THE FLESH AND THE SPIRIT
They produce two very different characters and these are quite incompatible! Where they exist in a Church Fellowship or any Organisation, there will be conflict!
There are three groups of Professing Christians:
Group 1. These who are members of Christ’s Spiritual Body. The true Church that is connected to the Lord Jesus who is the Head of it and also connected to every other member of the Body. Therefore, those who Minister in the Body, know who is and who is not as described by the Lord Jesus in John 14:23. They are driven by the Spirit, though the Flesh can pop-up now and again.
Group 2. These are members of separate Christian Church Groups, of which there are a great many (41,000+). They are not spiritually connected to the Lord Jesus in the same way as Christ’s Body are. They do not know who is Christ’s Ministers! They are driven by the Flesh.
Group 3. These are the Fellowships that try to combine spirituality with a Christian Church Group. Therefore, they can use the term ‘Body of Christ’, often in a well-meaning way. Not all of them hate God and Mankind. The problem is, and it’s a BIG problem, they are not part of Christ’s Spiritual Body – they are a sort of Hybrid! They do not always know or understand who Christ’s Ministers are, though they may have an idea. They have the Spirit through salvation, but not the power of it through Baptism. They are happy to be saved, but that is all.
Spiritual Warfare is the conflict between the Flesh and the Spirit.
Because of this, those in Group 3, find their Flesh (What the members want, John 14:24) is fighting against the Spirit (What the Spirit wants in, John 14:23). This is a real problem when a member of Christ’s Spiritual Body arrives through the Fellowship Door. The Flesh and the Spirit are incompatible. That is, they cannot work together.
NOW IS THE TIME TO GET RIGHT WITH THE LOVING AND POWERFUL LORD JESUS WHILE YOU CAN – YOUR TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
